Employment Type: Permanent Staff (EHRA NF) Vacancy ID: NF0008288 Salary Range: $74,340 - $90,860 Position Summary/Description: This is an At-Will position and we currently have funding for one year. This position is located within the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. The Research Associate will report to Dr. Delesha Carpenter in the Division of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy and support Eshelman Innovation. This position will assist with convening an expert advisory panel to conduct a needs assessment related to methadone access in NC; Help collect and analyze survey data from pharmacists and prescribers; Help collect and analyze qualitative interview data; Help plan a pilot study to increase pharmacy-based access to methadone; Assist with IRB and regulatory submissions as needed; Write manuscripts and conference abstracts related to the project. Education and Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with: - previous experience analyzing survey and qualitative data - previous experience with IRB submissions - excellent written communication skills - previous database management experience Essential Skills: Master's in public health with previous work experience in Substance Use Disorder ( SUD ) space, or in related field of study.
