HOW A JAVA DEVELOPER EXPERT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software
Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems
Translates software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks
Implements the product's lifecycle: Design, development, quality, deployment and maintenance
Develops and adheres to best-practices for developing applications
Continuously contribute to team performance improvement and collaboration
Solves problems creatively and effectively
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: BS in Computer Science or related field
Required Experience: 15+ years of related experience
Required Technical Skills:
- Front End Skills: Single Page Applications (ReactJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML), Responsive Design
Back End Skills: Microservices, REST, Node.js, JVM (Java - Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.), Database (Postgres, MySQL, etc.).
Build Tools: maven, gradle, grunt, gulp, git, tactical and strategic improvements to large scale Java/J2EE/ products,
Documented Experience with DevOps, CI/CD Routine
Documented Experience with Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS)
Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems
Translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks
Implement the product's lifecycle: Design, development, quality, deployment and maintenance
Develop and adhere to best-practices for developing applications

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

The likely salary range for this position is $170,000 - $230,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
