Construction Contracts Administrator - Military Veterans

The Contract Administrator is responsible for managing contract-related activities for assigned projects within the organization. This role involves the preparation, review, administration, and revision of subcontracts and other project-related agreements. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excel in risk identification, and possess strong analytical skills to optimize cost-efficiency and ensure legal compliance. The role also includes obtaining necessary approvals and adhering to company protocols.
Responsibilities: Independently manage contract-related tasks with a focus on delivering meticulous work. Communicate proactively with internal and external partners to ensure timely execution of vendor agreements. Prepare, process, and oversee various vendor agreements such as subcontracts, purchase orders, and consultant agreements. Follow up diligently with subcontractors, vendors, and third parties to ensure compliance with document submission requirements. Act as a central point for information dissemination, overseeing contractual conditions, notifications, deadlines, and deliverables in line with internal procedures. Support procurement and operations teams by creating vendor agreement templates for each project. Assist project management in maintaining organized project records. Maintain a well-organized digital records system, adhering to project-specific file storage requirements. Handle confidential information with discretion, ensuring high levels of data entry accuracy and meeting strict deadlines. Provide feedback to improve and streamline contract-related processes. Perform other duties as assigned to support team objectives.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or 3-5 years of experience in construction administration dealing with contract documentation flow. Experience in Business-to-Business environments with proficiency in reading and understanding contract language for negotiation purposes highly preferred.
