Job Summary
The Pool Attendant maintains cleanliness and order around the pool area. Provides prompt and courteous service to guests.
Responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is desired.
  • Proficient in position required job skills and knowledge. Intelligent in grasping and integrating new information.
  • Is an active learner with a strong sense of curiosity.
  • Has natural instincts and insight for finding the best solution to unclear situations issues and problems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Walk all assigned areas throughout shift; remove and replace dirty towels and service trays and glasses empty trash receptacles.
  • Set-up and/or breakdown Pool areas on a daily basis.
  • Remove trash and/or linens and note any areas that need immediate cleaning.
  • Maintain Pool Showers lockers and bathroom areas throughout shift.
  • Serve as barback/busser for Pool Bartenders and Pool Servers.
  • Clean all pool areas in the prescribed manner while following safety and security procedures and regulations.
  • Remove soiled terry and trash from the pool areas and take to the appropriate locations in the prescribed manner and retrieve clean terry.
  • Stock pool linen and supply to ensure par inventories.
  • Report any missing/found articles damage or merchandise problems to the supervisor and/or security.
  • Respond to guest requests and questions and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with Supervisor on work priorities and provide assistance when needed.
  • Perform any other additional duties as assigned by leadership.
  • Scheduled days and times may vary based on need.
  • Utilizes a variety of approaches and communication techniques tailored to each situation. Is comfortable in conversing with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and at all organizational levels.
  • For properties with a slide maintain slide safety by monitoring all guests using slide or in pool at slide bottom.
  • For properties with a slide enforce proper slide usage â€" i.e. slide position 1 guest at a time no guest at slide bottom.
