Sr. Product Manager - Military Veterans

Qualifications:

• BA/BS required in computer science, information technology, software engineering, engineering, data science, or business.


• 10+ years of experience in product management, customer engagement, solution design, or technology delivery, with 3 - 5 years of leadership experience


• Ability to create and execute product strategies and strategic vision.


• Ability to analyze markets and apply findings to development decisions.


• Proficiency in leading and managing cross-team projects and goals.


• Expertise in product management and product development life cycles.


• Understanding of product strategy development and road mapping tools.


• Experience with market research tools and techniques.


• Foundational skills in asking pertinent questions to grasp business challenges and identify key metrics or objectives.


• Developing internal communication skills, learning to effectively communicate with different levels of management.


• Proficiency in managing multiple tasks, including requirement gathering, document writing, and support activities.


• A problem-solving mindset, contributing creative solutions to complex issues in collaborative team environments.


• Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.


• The capability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

Position Overview:

The Senior Product Manager is responsible for product development and ensuring a high return on investment. They take ownership of key product areas, leading the development and execution of product roadmaps. They work closely with engineering, design, and other teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs. This position manages people. Work is accomplished without considerable direction. Exercises judgement in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria in obtaining results. Exerts significant latitude in determining objectives of assignment. Takes calculated risks with consultation from the expert.

Essential Functions:

• Develop and maintain the product roadmap, prioritizing features and initiatives.


• Work closely with engineering and design teams to define product requirements and specifications.


• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions.


• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to drive product adoption and growth.


• Monitor and analyze product metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.


• Lead product managers and coordination with engineering, marketing and other teams


• Incorporate feedback and input from customers, partners and in-house teams on product strategy and finding ways to expand product market reach.
