Job Summary:


AIS is looking for a The Travel Reimbursement Specialist to work in Oak Ridge, TN. The Travel Reimbursement Specialist will support Conference and Travel Management to provide customer service and evaluate travel related documentation. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!


Responsibilities


Job Responsibilities:




  • Analyzes and audits travel related documents submitted by staff, students, prospective employees, contractors, and guests


  • Ensures that all required receipt and supporting documentation are attached to Travel Expense Form


  • Audits all information available for the selected trip


  • Contacts traveler and/or administrative assistant if additional information is needed to complete audit


  • Makes audit decisions based on SBMS (Standards Based Management System) or Travel Internal Operating Procedures (IOPs)


  • Documents audit comments and close out audits in the required processing time


  • Responsible to provide decision and recommendations to supervisor when necessary


  • Provides excellent customer service to travel population


  • Other miscellaneous travel functions as needed




Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:




  • A high school diploma and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience




Desired Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration


  • Travel audit experience


  • Experience with SAP and knowledge of government travel regulations (FAR, FTR, GSA, etc.)


  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and written and oral communication skills


  • Good computer skills and working knowledge of software packages including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Adobe


  • Ability to complete multiple assignments within a structured schedule with strict time constraints


  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
