About the Role
The Quality Assurance Engineer III is a part of our Supply Chain organization and in this role will interact with a broad range of suppliers (existing and new). Our Aftermarket QA Engineer will support the workload increase on Customer Support requests, PFs, NOEs, Alerts, Mailouts, reviews, new supplier's certification, audits and investigations.
Adiditional Information
- Prior experience in the aviation or aerospace industry is highly desirable
- The candidate should be proactive in driving continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality Assurance department
- Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with other departments
- Experience in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Power BI, Corridor and SAP is a plus
- Experience in supply chain audit management and QMS (Quality Management System) is preferred.
- Experience leading and participating in high level project implementation
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, aviation sciences, quality systems or related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 4 years quality assurance/control, manufacturing operations and/or military operations experience is required..
Position Purpose:
Performs Quality Assurance Engineering assignments requiring independent evaluation, selection, and application of standard Quality Engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgment and ingenuity in making adaptations and modifications. Tasks are performed on medium, moderately complex contracts requiring independent execution within a defined set of skills or knowledge area without help or coaching from others. In working with senior level Quality Assurance Engineers, individuals may be exposed to higher level skills that may require help or coaching from others.
