Senior Centralized Data Analyst - Military Veterans

UDR, Inc. is now hiring a Senior Centralized Data Analyst to join our team at our corporate office in Highlands Ranch.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Accountable for the development of new initiatives for the Centralized Analysts. Assist in the streamlining of processes and implementing innovative data driven solutions. Provides exemplary support to Leadership and various internal cross functional UDR departments through gathering, maintaining, organizing, analyzing, and presenting data.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Create and define new data collection and analysis processes.

2. Perform thorough analyses of data to uncover actionable insights or strategic opportunities related to operational efficiency and performance.

3. Utilize database management system(s) to produce primary source data for reconciliation.

4. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends and/or patterns in data sets, including compiling, filtering, and cleaning data as required.

5. Monitor and audit platforms for inefficiencies, discrepancies, and/or errors in performance and use, report to appropriate parties and assist with troubleshooting as needed.

6. Assist in development and optimization efforts as company needs require, including platforms, programs, reporting, and other areas as identified.

7. Work with leadership to prioritize business and information needs.

8. Provide exemplary customer service and team support throughout projects.

9. Develop and optimize the reconciliation of data/metrics for the internal cross functional UDR departments.

10. Publish weekly/bi-monthly/monthly program/team performance data to leadership, including data visualizations.

11. Create data verification and key metric reporting within the trackers and/or platforms of the internal cross functional UDR departments.

12. Support the Team Lead in the strategic direction of the Centralized Analyst Team with key focus on contributing to the actualization of hitting the goals of the internal cross functional UDR departments.

13. Participate in meetings as needed with Team Leads and Managers to discuss support of initiatives and need for metrics.

14. Partner with the Corporate IT Group to build/iterate initiatives as business needs dictate.

15. Identify strategic opportunities for inter-departmental growth and innovation.

16. Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge of organizational policies and procedures. Ability to apply policies and procedures to solve everyday issues. Knowledge of basic office
  • practices and procedures. Capable of flexibility in office space including the use of mobile office tools such as: a laptop computer, a tablet, and a mobile phone.
  • Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills with superb attention to detail. Must be able to assess complex data sets and produce actionable reports. Capable of adjusting understanding of goals and priorities based upon the shifting needs. Able to communicate effectively to stay up to date with information priorities.
  • Demonstrates excellent reading comprehension and written composition skills. Proven exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven ability to work in an autonomous, self-directed environment. Competent and skilled working in conjunction with Company managers, vendors, and associates. Must be able to translate analytical concepts to individuals at all levels in the organization.
  • Exercises initiative, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Requires proficiency in the use of the internet and internet searches. Must be skilled in recording and analyzing data as well as word processing, drafting correspondence, and memoranda. Attention to detail and proficiency with MS Office software applications required such as Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel. Must know and follow the Fair Housing laws.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. Occasionally lifting items weighing up to 30 pounds. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports. Physical presence onsite is required to perform essential job functions unless otherwise noted. Regular and consistent attendance on the job is an essential function.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment. Occasional evening or weekend work. Occasional travel in the United States to UDR communities or offices.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

2. Minimum of three to five years' experience working in a job that required daily proficiency in Excel.

3. Demonstrated success specific to the development of metrics, data collection and process improvement required.

4. Customer relationship/marketing experience is a plus.

5. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license unless otherwise noted.

Hourly Range:
• $31.25/hr. - $33.65/hr., depends on experience

Bonus Potential:
• Eligible for 10% annual bonus potential, based on personal and company performance
