Job Summary:


ASE is looking for an experienced Web Developer to work in support of Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) in Orlando, Florida. Position will be onsite while ramping up with the ability to go hybrid if so desired. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!


Responsibilities


Job Responsibilities:




  • Develops, implements, and maintains websites, web applications, and application databases.


  • Ensures all code is properly structured, adheres to industry standards, and is compatible with various browsers and devices.


  • Optimizes website performance, scalability, and server-side code and processes.


  • Integrates websites with other computer applications and develop website infrastructure.


  • Designs user-friendly interfaces, navigation menus, and digital layouts that ensure compatibility and usability across different browsers and devices.


  • Utilizes web frameworks and client-side coding to enhance user experience.


  • This position has potential for hybrid flexibility once integrated with team and processes.




Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:




  • Must be US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.


  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in web development with experience in the following languages:


  • React OR Python,


  • JavaScript,


  • Typescript,


  • SQL,


  • CSS.


  • A.S. or B.S. degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Computer Engineering, specializing in Web Design and Development or Software Engineering.


  • Proven experience in writing, updating, and maintaining efficient, testable, and well-documented code.


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a penchant for teamwork.




Desired Qualifications:




  • Experience with the following languages: Dash, Plotly, Flask, and/or SQL alchemy
