As a Sr Government Subcontracting Specialist here at Honeywell, you will oversee and drive procurement of material and services in alignment with business leadership for your assigned commodity/category and/or region as per the Annual Operating Plan. This position will lead the end-to-end cycle of FAR15 proposals and subcontracts supporting key Honeywell programs. Ensure compliance with company business policies and procedures, Export/Import regulations, as well as the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS). You will work a hybrid schedule at one of our facilities in the following locations: Glendale AZ, Tempe AZ, Norcross GA, Clearwater FL, Torrance CA, or Phoeniz AZ.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Oversee procurement of material and services in alignment with business leadership

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, FAR, and DFARS requirements

  • Evaluate bids and proposals

  • Identify and resolve subcontract issues

  • Develop mutually acceptable solutions

COMPENSATION
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is $79,000-$110,000. For Washington and most major metropolitan areas in New York & California, the annual base salary range is $79,000-$110,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

YOU MUST HAVE


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or Finance

  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills

WE VALUE



  • Experience with Federal Acquisitions Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations

  • Experience with SAP or similar procurement systems

  • Bachelor's degree
