Process Coordinator - Military Veterans

The Philadelphia, PA site manufactures a life-saving influenza vaccine. Our product is aseptically filled into sprayers for nasal administration. The site consists of two geographic locations - a production facility at Red Lion Road in NE Philadelphia and a storage and distribution facility in Bensalem. The two facilities employ approximately 140 employees. The facilities are about 8 miles apart and both are situated close to I-95, the city of Philadelphia, and Philadelphia International Airport. Our product is sold in the US, UK, and other countries. Operations continue year-round, with the production season being in the summer (typically May-August). Our site is highly collaborative where we show our Philly pride in all we do. We work closely together, always striving to be better every day. This is 2nd shift working M-F 2pm - 10:30pm.

Accountabilities:

As a Process Coordinator, you'll ensure schedule adherence and recommend alternatives to scheduling exceptions. You'll be responsible for SAP transactions, perform SOP revisions, and coordinate trainers for on-the-job training. You'll also liaise with QA, Facilities, and QC to ensure timely batch release. Other tasks include reviewing completed batch records, receiving requests for future activities which may impact the production schedule, monitoring schedule via computer terminals and adjusting as needed. You'll provide communication to affected departments of schedule changes in a timely fashion and communicate to adjacent shifts, changes and events which may affect production schedules.

Essential Skills/Experience:

- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)

- 1 year of experience in pharma/biomed industry

Desirable Skills/Experience:

- Bachelor's degree is preferred

- 2 years related experience; experience with GMP in a pharmaceutical environment preferred.
