WAREHOUSE SPECIALIST I - Military Veterans

We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Selectors to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for selecting product, loading and inspecting trucks, completing replenishment and put-away drops, and receiving and counting product with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. You will also play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by adhering to McLane's guidelines.

Position Details

• Pay: $22.75 per hour


• Shift: Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM; overtime as required

Essential Job Functions

• Review documents and record information to verify quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product.


• Operate reach trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts to select, pull, sort, and stack product within the warehouse and dock.


• Hand stack product when necessary.


• Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders; remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.


• 1-2 years of distribution warehouse experience, including operation of reach trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts, is preferred.


• Ability to read and comprehend labels, instructions, and bills of lading.


• Ability to perform mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to verify quantities of product.


• Ability to apply understanding of problems involving some variables.


• Strong problem-solving and time management skills.


• Ability to deliver customer satisfaction within McLane guidelines.


• Independent discretion and judgment while also working well in a team environment.

Working Conditions

• Work environment encompasses all areas of the Distribution Center.


• Security check required upon entering or exiting the facility.


• Security may conduct searches of employees or vehicles at any time.
