The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is administratively housed in the Office of the Chancellor. The Universitys seventeen teams compete as members of NCAA Division I and the Southern Conference. Approximately 300 students are involved as athletes, managers, trainers, statisticians, cheerleaders, etc. We are committed to academic and athletic excellence. We expect to win championships. We expect to honor students for their academic achievements. We will continue to work every day to make this community proud and ensure that the Spartans are in fact Greensboros hometown team. We will embrace a culture that is clear and consistent in its priorities.

Bachelors degree
CSCS or CSCCA certification
Current CPR and First Aid certification are prerequisites
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations are prerequisites
Preferred Qualifications
Masters Degree in related fields
Minimum of two years experience in intercollegiate or professional athletics strength and conditioning
Background in designing, implementing, and monitoring programs with intercollegiate or professional basketball teams
