Position Number: 001963 Department: Coll of Computing&Informatics (Col) Employment Type: Permanent - Full-time Months Per Year: 12 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This position reports directly to the Associate Dean (AD) for Undergraduate Programs and Student Success in the college of Computing & Informatics. The range of duties include administration and coordination of a variety of business functions pertaining to the college-wide level/programs: Manages and executes class schedules and academic processes Manages hiring of part-time faculty, instructors of record, teaching assistants (TA) and instructional assistants (IA) which including training, evaluation of reviewing and approving student time sheets. Handles travel requests and assists with procurement as needed. Utilizes a mix of skills, initiative, and sound judgment to work with program directors, staff, and students. Minimum Experience / Education: Required Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from high school and one year of related office experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. University Preferred Qualifications: Graduation from high school and demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities gained through four years of specialized office experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Education Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree is preferred. Three years of office/clerical experience. Experience with employee and class schedule functions in Banner is preferred. Knowledge of 49erMart, P-card, NinerWorks is preferred. Must have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks when faced with a heavy workload. Strong attention to detail and deadlines is essential.
