OnsiteNightwing is seeking a Network Engineer candidate that can support a broad range of fast paced, quick reaction program requirements delivering systems engineering to CONUS and OCONUS facilities. The Network Engineer (NE) must be able to apply the mission’s project management model for development and installation efforts; and provide build, testing, analysis, deployment, and troubleshooting/lifecycle support for hardware/software/ network systems and applications. NE will work with internal stakeholders to conduct site surveys as part of the project management plan to properly plan, document, and execute the system integration. As part of a small team, the NE will perform and plan all maintenance of the mission infrastructure CONUS and OCONUS components.
Required Skills
Package deployment experience (build, configure, support, deploy, procurement quotes) into different environments e.g. fit-out and into the network
Knowledge with wireless technologies e.g. GSM/CDMA
Strong experience in Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft applications to include Microsoft System Center/Endpoint products.
Demonstrate working knowledge of virtualization products including VMware, Nutanix, Red Hat Open Shift and/ or Hyper-V
Experience with storage devices such as NetApp
Knowledge of TCIP/IP routing and use of secure scripts
Experience providing Tier 3 Support to technical systems
Network experience (configure, install, maintain) with multi-layer switches, routers, firewalls, workstations, satellite, and secure communications
Experience (install and terminate) with fiber optics and Ethernet cables
Experience conducting site surveys prior to installation activities
Ability to interpret drawings of rack elevations, system component front and back views, wiring interconnect diagrams, wire lists, and networks
Ability to test, inspect and verify all communications systems to ensure compliance with COMSEC policies and procedures and project management requirements
Demonstrated strong performance as a technical leader working in a matrixed environment with project(s) requirements CONUS, OCONUS, on-site and in virtual environments
Demonstrated capacity to understand and communicate technical ideas and concepts across various audiences, and the ability to quickly provide approaches to solutions within varied working groups
Able to provide 10-15% OCONUS support
Clearance Requirement-TS/SCI with Polygraph
Desired Skills
Willingness to perform OCONUS travel above anticipated 10-15%, if required
Prior OCONUS environments
Operation Center support experience
Site survey experience for systems installations, infrastructure, and power requirements
Demonstrate technical training background
Technical Certifications: Microsoft Certified and/or CCIE
Prior experience or knowledge of CSFC technologies and methodologies
Current experience in distributed work environment architectures and systems

The salary range for this role is 130,000 USD - 272,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
