Our Advanced Radar Products Department has an immediate need for a Tech Refresh 3 Hardware CAM and ECP Lead with expertise working on complex development program with factory build experience. You will collaborate with a cross functional team comprised of Engineers, Operations, and Program Management to support the development program across multiple sites. In this role, you will lead with a culture of trust, transparency, compliance, diversity, inclusion, and accountability.

What You Will Do


  • Identify, manage, and mitigate technical risk


  • Train and lead a team of 15+ engineers


  • Facilitate Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) with the customer


  • Solve complex CMES, PRISM, and other factory infrastructure issues


  • Manage control account(s) utilizing Earn Value Management (EVM) techniques


  • Coordinate with NTX and Forest factories to load demand, update factory plan, and manage material  


  • Expected to Travel 25% of the time.


What You Will Learn


  • Incorporating ECPs and development changes into a production factory setting


  • Facilitating the transfer of hardware in both unclassified and classified facilities


Qualifications You Must Have


  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 10 years of prior engineering and/or manufacturing experience. An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for additional years of experience as follows: Master’s is equal to 2 years of experience or a Ph.D. is equal to 4 years of experience.


  • Extensive knowledge and experience utilizing a Factory Operating Systems (FOS) or Manufacturing Operating System (MOS) to manage critical material receipt and builds to support program execution .


  • Raytheon EV certified and experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM)


  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance and AAS Program access is required prior to start date.


  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.


Qualifications We Prefer:


  • Experience with Production Readiness Reviews, Physical Configuration Audits, First Article Inspections, Gate or Stages for Transition to Production, and System / Platform Integration


  • Experience in cost estimation and developing proposals for Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and new development programs for the government


  • Knowledge of program tailoring and internal review process


  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
