The Project Director of TRIO Educational Talent Search ( ETS ) makes a positive impact in the pre-college students by providing leadership for programs that support the persistence, retention, and graduation of first-generation, low-income, and disabled students. ETS provides support and opportunities to prepare students to excel academically by providing support, motivation, and encouragement. The Project Director will: Administer and implement innovative and high-impact programs and services for ETS participants. Promote the services available to ETS programs and recruit eligible students to participate in the program. Recruit, hire, train, and lead a staff of professional staff, graduate assistants, and student workers to fulfill the mission and grant requirements of ETS . Develop and administer and ETS grant budget, based on the requirements of the grant. This includes reporting and securing additional funding for future grant years. Assess and monitor program data and outcomes. Minimum Required Qualifications: Master's degree in education or related field A minimum of 3 years of experience working in education related field and/or in the administration of programs service low-income or 1st generation populations. Two years of experience supervising staff. Demonstrated commitment to diversity and a record of inclusion. Ability to develop programming to prepare high school students for college success. Maintain accurate student records and produce reports on student progress as needed. Must be able to drive a 12 passenger van. Must have a valid driver's license and meet University driver eligibility requirement. Preferred Qualifications: Direct experience working with a TRIO program, pre-college program preferred. Experience with data management for TRIO programs and/or reporting to the Department of Education. Leadership experience in higher education or related industry. Experience developing, implementing, and managing a budget. Experience managing and meeting grant objectives and expectations. Posted Salary: $62,000/yr. minimum Job Type: Full-Time
