Job Description

Who will you be working with?

L&M Radiator, Inc. is a global designer, manufacturer, and distributor or MESABI cooling and heat transfer solutions that are custom-made for heavy equipment in the mining, oil, gas, construction, and heavy industrial industries. We are looking for an individual to join our warehouse team. This position will work directly with the warehouse supervisor, warehouse employees, and employees throughout the plant as directed. This position works Monday - Friday 2pm-10pm.

How will you make a difference?

As a member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for cleaning, repairing, and maintaining equipment for buildings and grounds at the plant. Coordinate with vendors and outside contractors on building or maintenance projects and repairs when needed.

. We are looking for individuals of all skill levels and are willing to train. This role is vital in helping the flow of production to move as smoothly as possible by ensuring orders are received and accurately counted and recorded.

What do we want to know about you?


  • 18 years or older

  • High school diploma or GED with 1 year of work experience.

  • Drivers License required

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Forklift experience

What will your typical day look like?

  • Safety and maintenance checks.

  • Replace cords and parts on broken or worn-out equipment.

  • Repair hand and/or power tools.

  • Repair plumbing.

  • Paint non-production items.

  • Trouble shoot and adjust equipment and machines.

  • Clean and repair lighting.

  • Service motor home when needed.

  • Fabricate parts and shop equipment.

  • Document repairs and data entry.

  • Follow all safety lockout/tag out procedures.

  • Snow removal and lawn care.

  • Assist in other areas of production as needed and qualified.

  • Perform work in a safe manner and follows all safety guidelines and procedure.

  • Domestic and international travel possible depending on the project.

  • Perform related work or job duties as required by supervisor.


What about the physical demands of the job?

  • Wear correct PPE - earplugs, protective eye wear, steel-toed boots, and work provided uniform (gloves when necessary)

  • Lift a minimum of 50lbs.

  • Stand on concrete for 8-10 hours.

  • Work in high heat conditions

  • Practice and maintain safe work conditions.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required for Entry Level:

  • Regular and reliable attendance.

  • Basic mechanical abilities to include electrical, hydraulic, and plumbing.

  • Forklift driving skills along with ability to operate maintenance equipment.

  • Physical strength sufficient to perform job duties.

  • Understand and carry out oral and written instructions.

  • Electrical, HVAC, and mechanical troubleshooting necessary.

  • Blueprint, assembly and technical schematic reading, and documents required.

  • Safety orientated and follow all safety standards and regulations.

  • Ability to communicate, in English, effectively and clearly by both written and verbal means.

  • Work effectively and productively in the resolution of difficult and/or stressful issues.

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment written math test, physical, drug and background test.


Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Epicor or similar ERP system. Experience in Lean Manufacturing. Class B Driver's License and DOT.
