As a Client Services Consultant in charge of Cloud Providers (CSC) , your primary focus is driving VMware by Broadcom subscription licensing revenue by helping service providers sell more of their services to more of their customers.
What are the performance outcomes over the first 12 months you will work toward completing?
- The CSC will be a part of and work collaboratively in an international team and environment
- The CSC will co-develop a partner strategy for METNA as first priority in tandem with your VMware Cloud Services Sales Partners. You will be accountable for quarterly booking targets for selling VMware solutions (perpetual and SaaS) across compute, network, storage, security, datacenter management, and cloud services, along with packaged services, and educational offerings.
- The CSC seeks to build deep, consultative relationships with their partners, effectively becoming a trusted advisor. The CSC trusted advisor is ideally positioned to understand the Partner's high-level business objectives, and match these to VMware solutions to satisfy the business and technical requirements not only for the customer's current state but future state architectures.
- The CSC is comfortable presenting VMware by Broadcom's value proposition, technologies, strategy, and product roadmaps to all levels of their customers including executives, technical management, and technical engineers.
- The CSC will establish solid working relationships with VMware by Broadcom specialists teams, sales leadership, professional services and Cloud/Hosting Partners.
What assignments, requirements will you be performing on a regular basis?
- Travel approximately 30% of the time meeting with and presenting to current and prospective partners and for internal and partner events/meetings.
- Providing the technical knowledge to help partners understand how VMware by Broadcom can help them meet their business goals. Design, develop and sell solutions built around the VMware by Broadcom portfolio to solve our partners Business goals.
- Coordination within an internal set of multi-functional teams such as Client Execs, Product Specialists, Inside Reps, Field Marketing, Professional Services, and Channel Management and external partners as described previously.
- The territory will consist of a set of partners where VMware by Broadcom will be emphasizing consumption and outcome-focused selling including vision casting.
- Collaborate internally.
To qualify for this position, you will :
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Have excellent presentation skills, including software demonstration skills
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of business and IT management.
- Speak Spanish and English fluently
- Be willing to travel across Europe if required (up to 15%)
- Have infrastructure architecture design, implementing, troubleshooting or operating experience
- Have experience with VMware Cloud Foundation Platform and automation solutions including but not limited to: Cloud Director, vRealize Orchestrator
Additional experience in the following is a plus:
- Have knowledge of Service Provider business
- Experience with networking design
- Experience with next-generation application
- Experience with public cloud platforms (e.g. Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, AWS)
