Requisition Number: 2024 - 205 Business Unit: Munroe-Meyer Institute Department: MMI Psychology 50000698 Reg-Temp: Full-Time Regular Position Summary: The Munroe-Meyer Institute ( MMI ) for Genetics and Rehabilitation at the University of Nebraska Medical Center ( UNMC ) in Omaha is currently accepting applications for a faculty position in the Department of Psychology as an Assistant/Associate Professor/Professor (Rank DOQ ). Minimum requirements are a doctoral degree in Clinical or School Psychology. Applicant must have Nebraska licensure (or license eligible) while board certification (particularly BCBA ) is also valued. Candidates with a clinical internship from APA / CPA -accredited programs in psychology are preferred. Clinical activities center on delivery of behavioral health assessment, diagnostic and treatment services for neurotypical individuals (especially children, adolescents and families) as well as individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the lifespan. Referrals come from schools, physicians, and community agencies throughout the region. Faculty may choose to focus their clinical services, training and research in 1) outpatient BH clinics at MMI , 2) integrated primary care sites across the Omaha metro area, or 3) school-based mental health clinics in the surrounding community.
