Product Marketing V (B5) - Military Veterans

Role Purpose: The Photonics Platforms Business is a rapidly growing segment within Applied. The purpose of the role is to develop profitable customer relationships. The person will act as technical sales, field marketing and customer advocate working with our augmented reality waveguide products.

The person will work with existing customers, and on board new customers. The person will own the customer relationship and nurture the business opportunities. The person will coordinate customer project plans and SOWs, in collaboration with engineering. The person will essentially cover customer marketing and sales and will also get involved on multiple other fronts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the identification and ongoing development of business opportunities and issues within target markets.

2. Negotiate external agreements with customers including JDAs and sales agreements together with legal and expert negotiators

3. Strategic vision for marketing development and revenue growth.

4. Understand customer and company requirements to the level necessary to generate proposals.

5. Expand the use of internal applications across global divisions

6. Design business processes and strategies.

7. Define the methods and analytical techniques that are used for critical business functions on an internal/external basis to support worldwide business development.

8. Understand the competitive influences affecting the business.

9. Provide and assist in scenario planning and forecasting in the business product.

U.S. Salary Range:

$168,000.00 - $231,000.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
