Kelly is seeking a dedicated and experienced Weekend Production Supervisor to join our client in Detroit Lakes, MN on a direct hire basis. As the Weekend Production Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring products are built and shipped per schedule and established standards of work. You will provide positive staff leadership and maintain accountability on the production floor.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and monitor daily activities for assigned personnel, ensuring products are built and shipped per schedule.
- Exhibit positive leadership and foster support for corporate unity within the department.
- Collaborate with other departments, shifts, supervisors, and assembly personnel to meet production objectives.
- Train and coach employees, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
- Maintain a high level of organization, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to established standards.
- Address any production issues or challenges, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Complete necessary documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience leading a team and demonstrating effective communication skills.
- Experience in training and coaching employees for optimal performance.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to prioritize effectively.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment.
