Our AACSB-accredited College of Business at Metropolitan State University of Denver is seeking a Marketing Coordinator.  We are searching for a strategic, creative, self-motivated marketing professional to lead the marketing efforts for the College and be the driving force behind our engagement. This role is pivotal in shaping our brand, managing our online presence, and orchestrating memorable events that connect our college with the vibrant urban community around us. The Marketing Coordinator for the College of Business (CBUS) will create and execute a marketing strategy for the college in order to advance the marketing, recruitment, enrollment, and vision for the College.  The successful candidate will have the ability to work collaboratively with the Collegeâ™s leadership team, including the graduate program directors, department chairs, and center directors, to create relevant content, programs and events that will enhance the visibility and brand of the college.  The position will liaise and coordinate with the University Marketing and Communications branch. Responsibilities Marketing, Branding and Social Media (70%) Work in tandem with the CBUS Deans and chairs to build a College strategic marketing plan that aligns with the mission and broader goals of the College. Strategically evaluate, manage, and enhance current branding Develop and implement internal and external marketing strategies Develop, manage, and implement college wide digital marketing strategy including but not limited to websites, social media platforms, and other digital content. Develop and oversee College and department-level websites. Serve as primary social media administrator for the College and department level platforms. Plan, manage, implement, and communicate a strategic social media content calendar in support of editorial and marketing strategy and in alignment with student affairs and other key stakeholders. Manage day to day creative content development and execution on all digital platforms. Create high-quality engaging content for various platforms, including websites, social media, email marketing, and print materials. Use data analytics for web, social media, email marketing, and others to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement. This includes continuous monitoring of social media trends, innovations, and best practices. Develop and manage budgets for marketing and communication initiatives, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation. Event Coordination and Planning for College of Business (25%) Organize meetings, special events, and other activities for the College, departments, and centers, with a focus on organization and professionalism. In consultation with event sponsor, handle selection of vendor, vendor-relation management, and invoicing and payment arrangements. Specific duties may include but are not limited to: Room reservations, catering, vendor contracts, invoice/ payment arrangements, communication with participants, promotion of event, decorations, invitations, agendas, promotional items, minutes, tech support, and all logistical details. Establish and nurture partnerships with local communities, businesses, and organizations to enhance the collegeâ™s brand. College of Business Collaboration and Engagement (5%) Additional duties to ensure deep integration of marketing and event programming across all CBUS departments and centers. Required Qualifications                       Bachelorâ™s degree Demonstrated experience and expertise in facilitating marketing, branding, or social media plans Demonstrated experience with underlying technologies and/or languages for implementing web and digital communications Important Note: Successful applicants will ensure their resumes clearly demonstrate that their work experience describes how they meet al l required qualifications. Preferred Qualifications                       Bachelorâ™s degree in Marketing or Business with an emphasis in marketing, advertising, or promotion Demonstrated success working and collaborating in teams across divisions with rapid, frequent, overlapping, and conflicting deadlines Experience or interest working in Higher Education marketing, advertising, or social media Experience interest working with underrepresented students specifically, low-income, first-generation, and racially/ethnically diverse student leaders in a college/university setting Work Hours/Type This is a full-time, 40 hr/wk position that requires the candidate selected for hire to work on campus, in person Salary for Announcement The anticipated hiring range for this position is $60,000 - $65,000. The salary of the finalist selected for hire will be set based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, training, and qualifications.
