Overview The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to administration in the Dean's Suite. Responsibilities Assist in office clerical duties including, but not limited to, the following: Assists with general correspondence, memoranda, applications, and scheduling appointments Responsible for front desk reception that includes answering incoming calls and welcoming students and visitors Handles requests for assistance and potential questions; provides information and clarification Fields all phone requests Assists with letters and coordinates processing Assists with preparation of files Takes minutes for assigned Committee Meetings. Assists with reports and maintains records Compiles and tabulates statistical information Performs special projects and assignments as requested by the Dean or Directors Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education/ Experience High School Diploma or GED 1 year administrative experience Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities Strong interpersonal skills Well organized Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Maximum Salary Minimum Salary
