Digital Client Specialist - Military Veterans

WPTZ-TV, the Hearst-owned NBC affiliate in South Burlington, Vermont, is on the lookout for a dynamic and detail-oriented Digital Client Specialist (DCS) to join our team. As a DCS, you will be a pivotal member of the Sales Department, working closely with the Digital Sales Manager and Account Executives to manage digital campaigns and ensure client satisfaction. This role demands a blend of strong organizational skills, technical proficiency, and excellent communication abilities. We are seeking candidates with a superior customer service mindset and a passion for contributing to a high-performing sales organization, making a direct and meaningful impact on the digital advertising campaigns at WPTZ. This role reports to the General Sales Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Management
    • Process digital campaign orders, manage digital ad inventory, and oversee successful execution of all phases of digital ad orders.
    • Monitor, analyze, and optimize online advertising performance from insertion order to post-completion.
    • Develop creative concepts for digital campaigns and communicate effectively with the creative team.

  • Client and Team Collaboration
    • Serve as the primary contact for clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring all commitments are delivered.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, production, finance) to ensure seamless campaign execution.
    • Work directly with clients and the sales team to execute integrated marketing plans and provide detailed client service.

  • Strategic and Creative Support
    • Prepare strategic PowerPoint proposals based on customer needs.
    • Participate in digital training meetings to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
    • Assist in creative and strategic packaging of digital solutions and participate in client-facing opportunities with the DSM or AEs.

  • Technical Proficiency
    • Build, traffic, and schedule advertising creative.
    • Provide troubleshooting assistance for creative and operations-related issues for all campaigns.
    • Utilize advanced knowledge of DFP and Google Analytics to support campaign performance and reporting.


Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in online advertising trafficking, sales coordination/planning, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in DFP and Google Analytics.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a strong desire to exceed client expectations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong teamwork skills and a self-starter mentality.
  • Extreme attention to detail and time management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-person attendance is required.
