Job Summary and Qualifications

• Responsible for development and oversight of quality improvement processes and for administering the CQI strategy for Medical City Decatur.


• Provides statistical analysis of relevant clinical data monitored and collected in the areas of core measures, mortality, CHOIS, and hospital readmissions.


• Manages Quality analyst staff in the Quality Department.

What qualifications you will need:

Education:

• BSN required; MSN preferred.


• Licensure/certification/registration:


• Lean Six Sigma certification or professional certification in healthcare quality preferred (CPHQ).


• Texas RN license or state compact license required.

Experience Required:

• 5 years clinical experience required and minimum 2 years in healthcare management.


• 2-3 years of experience in healthcare quality preferred or process improvement.
