Rheumatologist - Health Sciences Assistant/Associate/Full Clinical Professor - Division of Rheumatology, Allergy and Clinical Immunology Position Overview: The salary range for this position is: Assistant - $188,000-$265,000 Associate - $215,000- $280,000 Full - $230,000-$330,000 This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation plan The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, Allergy & Clinical Immunology at the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine is recruiting for 1 full-time faculty member at the Elk Grove Community Clinic location in the Professor of Health Sciences Clinical Professor series at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank in Rheumatology. Faculty in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series are expected to engage in teaching, professional competence, and activity, scholarly or creative activities and University/public service. The successful candidate will have a strong record of clinical care in the management of soft tissue rheumatism as well as autoimmune diseases, to provide excellent clinical care. A strong background or clinical training in immunology is highly desirable. Applicants should be skilled in the use of biological therapy and the ACR Guidelines for their usage as well as an understanding of potential drug interactions. Successful candidates will see patients in both the inpatient and outpatient setting and interact with the University Residency and Fellowship program. Experience in or the ability to teach and supervise medical students, residents and fellows is required. The ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment is required.
