Job Description

Partner with multi-functional Medline teams to drive strategy and execution of all performance marketing activity within eCommerce; developing a full funnel approach that places our consumers at the center of everything we do. This role collaborates closely with product division, retail marketing, retail sales, and supply chain teams to drive Medline categories and conversion of Medline products at Amazon.com and Walmart.com.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing digital marketing plans specific for Amazon and Walmart that align with Medline's business goals and objectives. The main objective of these plans is to drive sell-through results, optimizations, and best practices across the regions leveraging media, digital merchandising, content, and data.
  • Collaborate with marketing colleagues and business account managers to drive coordinated plans and be responsible for achieving a set of KPIs. Track and report on the execution of the plans including an annual approach, investment plan and key initiatives to senior leaders.
  • Develop and activate quarterly learning agenda to ensure continuous test and learn that will advance capabilities, improve customer experience, and drive sell-thru.
  • Develop and foster partnerships with senior stakeholders within account to drive category growth and create mutual value for customers and for Medline.
  • Strengthen the perception of Medline as both an internal and external strategic business partner by sharing insights and information about market trends, technological innovation and customer needs.
  • Responsible for working with our eCommerce team and agency partners to define and execute the paid search strategy, campaign optimization and reporting results for Amazon and last-mile delivery partners.
  • Responsible for leading Amazon full funnel marketing activations including strategy and creative development with agency partners.
  • Collaborate with internal team & with customer to identify white space opportunities, competitive analysis and create value via packaging & consumer messaging.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, Customer Relationship Management, Communications, Business Administration or any other related field preferred.

Work Experience:
  • At least 5 years of CPG brand/marketing/sales and/or Shopper Marketing experience.
  • 3+ years of digital agency management experience required.
  • 3+ years of eCommerce experience, with broad and/or deep expertise in Amazon or Walmart.com selling, with an advanced understanding of the business, coordination, and pull-through required.
  • 4+ years of traditional CPG Shopper marketing role preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Intermediate to advanced analytics, digital and omni-commerce knowledge.
  • Experience in Sales & Marketing, leading marketing and/or shopper communication.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow through.
  • Thrives in change and comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Ability to change behaviors by influencing, developing, motivating and inspiring people to create right working environment.
  • Ability to think within broadly defined policies, principles and specific objectives.
  • Ability to think in an analytical, interpretative, evaluative, creative and innovative way in situations constantly requiring adaptation or development of new solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional understanding of digital eCommerce and advertising retail environment.
  • Financial knowledge and awareness with the ability to interpret budget implications, P & L statements and other relevant financial assessments.
  • Experience negotiating at all levels in retail environment..
  • Experience managing portfolio of Amazon, Amazon Advertising, Walmart.com, Sams.com, and other eCommerce retailers.
  • Experience working in a consultative capacity/approach to provide solutions based on customer needs.

Medline also has served as an Environmental Protection Agency SmartWay® Transport partner for the past 10 years, tracking and sharing information on the company’s fuel use and freight emissions.
