Position Overview

STS Technical Services is seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to join our team in Tucson, Arizona. This role requires a minimum of 1 year of work experience in avionics, with a preference for candidates with corporate jet or commercial aircraft experience. Military aircraft maintenance experience, particularly with Depot/Isochronal/Phase inspections, is a plus.

Position Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of work experience in avionics or substantiated equivalent experience.
  


• Corporate jet aircraft or commercial aircraft experience preferred.
  


• Military aircraft maintenance experience (Depot/Isochronal/Phase inspections) is a plus.
  


• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) or Airframe (A) License is preferred.
  


• GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) or AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) Certification preferred.
  


• Certification from Avionics, Electric A/C Technical school or equivalent military training is preferred.
  


• Must possess their own tools.
  


• Ability to effectively communicate aircraft maintenance actions in English, both verbally and in writing.
  


• Must be comfortable with 12-hour shift work, including days, nights, and weekends.
