Adjunct Faculty, Life Changes and Crisis-Adaptations and Interventions Adjunct Faculty, Life Changes and Crisis-Adaptations and Interventions The Division of Human Services and Emergency Response Pathways invites applications for a potential adjunct faculty vacancy for the following course for 2024-2025: Life Changes and Crisis-Adaptations and Interventions COURSE DESCRIPTION: Examines key life events leading to increased insight, change, adaptation, and growth, stress, and/or crisis in the life of an individual. Concentration on interpersonal relationships, social cohesion, and conflict. Coping behaviors, models, and counseling approaches to stress and crisis intervention will be studied and practiced in class situations. Job Requirements: Earned Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/ university; a Master's degree in the subject area or a closely related field is preferred. Recent work experience related to the course content required. Teaching experience in higher education and/or at the community college level is strongly preferred. Interest in the field of human services, and specifically in the delivery of human services supports and services in the community. Demonstration of an interest towards lifelong learning and effort towards enhancing clinical expertise. Candidates will be required to pass a CORI/SORI and/or National background check as a condition of employment. Additional Information: SALARY: Adjunct salaries are dependent upon the number of credit hours. This is a non-benefited, MCCC position.
