Job Description:

Join General Dynamics IT and be a part of a team that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges. Our work depends on a Configuration Management Analyst joining our team to support the Army Global Unified Network (AGUN) program in Falls Church, VA.

AGUN is an IT Service Management contract in support of GENM-O's mission to enable information dominance from the tactical edge to the home station for the Army, DoD, National Command Authority, and international partners by acquiring, implementing, and sustaining strategic satellite and terrestrial communication systems, and by leveraging technologies to meet current and future requirements.

AGUN will design, procure, maintain, deploy, and transition a Global SDN solution in accordance with applicable Army policies and regulations. The AGUN-INC1 TO will provide a unified approach to ensure standardized deployments and configurations at multiple locations throughout the globe.

Configuration Analyst:


  • Provides services for engineering, installation, and O&M of a CM system to include a CM Plan outlining processes for detailed recording and updating of information related to hardware and software assets and configurations for all networks.


  • Enables the control of the IT infrastructure and services by monitoring and maintaining information on resources needed to deliver IT services.


  • Provides identification, control, status, and verification of CIs throughout their lifecycle.


  • Establishes and maintains the consistency of information regarding the design requirements, functional and physical attributes, and operational information of enterprise CIs.



Required:


  • BS degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree



  • 3+ years of experience in a CM role



  • Experience with CM Plans outlining processes for detailed recording and updating of information related to hardware and software assets and configurations for all networks.



  • Security+



  • Secret clearance

Travel:
  • It is anticipated that some personnel will be required to travel on Temporary Duty (TDY) to various CONUS and OCONUS locations. Long-distance travel is anticipated to be required in support of this effort.

The likely salary range for this position is $88,275 - $102,353. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
