Material Handler - Military Veterans

Amentum is seeking a Material Handler for a position on Kauai, HI. Supporting the Supply & Logistics Department. Under minimum supervision, the individual will perform a variety of functions and tasks related to the Supply and Logistics Department at PMRF and PMRF off-site locations, which include Makaha Ridge, Port Allen and Koke'e.
Responsibilities
Specific assignments and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following areas:
- Receive, issue, inventory, and stock material at all PMRF warehouse locations utilizing current database system.
- Utilize MAXIMO database and print issue/receipt tags to release materials to requestor.
- Perform property inventory control and warehouse functions In Accordance With (IAW) policies and procedures.
- Maintain all supply warehouses and ensure a clean and orderly work environment.
- Provide clerical and administrative tasks within the Supply and Logistics Department
- Complete all technical research on the procurement of assets.
- MILSTRIP data research and One Touch data inputs, processes, and procedures.
- Knowledge of FED LOG.
- Conducts inventories as required for all warehouse to include property accounts.
- Performs quality control inspections on property/tool accounts.
- Coordinate and prepare monthly reports IAW established formats, schedules, and deadlines.
- Performs all tasks IAW verbal and written instructions to the established standards.
- Assist in other areas of supply as required by cross utilization.
- In additions to the above, performs other tasks as directed by the supervisor and manager.
Additional Responsibilities
- Able to lift, push and pull 25-50 lbs.
- Work requires walking, standing, and repeated stooping.
- Environmental Elements: Customer contact, confined work area, field assignment, and inclement weather.
- Must be able to work in inclement weather, including daily exposure to heat and sun glare.
- General office, outdoor and warehouse environment.
- PMRF Off-site travel to additional warehouse locations.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school or equivalent.
- One year of Logistic Supply with customer service background
- Experience in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Inventory management and accountability
- Warehouse layout and storage plan
- Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently.
- Must work well with co-workers and customers.
- Must be capable of operating material handling equipment (MHE)
Security Clearance
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. Applicants selected either must currently possess a Secret clearance or will be subject to a US Government Security Investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain clearance prior to commencement of employment and maintain a security clearance for access to classified information or Closed/Restricted Areas throughout duration of employment.
