Responsibilities:
- Assists with general pipe preparation which includes removal of thread protectors, drifting pipe for mashed, cleaning thread connections, and stenciling pipe.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE procedures and policies.
- Maintain cleanliness of the station and surrounding areas.
- All other duties as directed by the Supervisor.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Knowledge of pipe and pipe handling is preferred.
- Prior inspection experience is preferred.
Lifting, Carrying, Pushing, Pulling.
Strength Demand:
- Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Responsibilities: Performs and combination of the following Tasks:
- Assures the condition of parts cleanliness OD & ID allows for proper inspection
- Performs certain inspections to written procedures
- assures all equipment used in performing this inspection is calibrated before using
- marks part and evaluates imperfections
- Performs in plant housekeeping
