Vacancy ID: PDS004233 Position Summary/Description: This laboratory-based position will explore novel strategies to identify genomic rearrangements and karyotypic alterations. The candidate will work with cell lines, human pathology samples, and mouse xenograft derived samples to purify DNA and RNA , perform basic molecular biology techniques, perform next generation sequencing. Education and Experience: To be successful, the candidate must experience with childhood cancer development and in the development of new diagnostics. In addition, the candidate should have familiarity with the application of next generation cancer genotyping and the implications of various chromosomal rearrangements on the diagnosis of childhood cancers.
