In Finance, you will have the opportunity to grow your career in different functional groups such as Accounts Payable, Midstream Accounting, Bank, Revenue and Retail, Credits and Receivables, Intercompany, Financial Accounting and Reporting, Upstream Accounting and Business Analysis and Support.

Chevron is accepting online applications for the Accounting Analyst position through June 14 at 11:59 p.m. PH Time

Primarily responsible for the administration of Global Accounts Reconciliation System (GARS) and perform other support activities for FSS Manila organization.

In-charge of the following tasks:

• New GARS user access request
• Assignment of reconcilers, reviewers, and back-up for new accounts
• Re-Assignment of reconcilers, reviewers, and back-up for old accounts
• Change account attributes (eg. risk rating, recon frequency, recon templates, etc)
• Process/update group assignment
• Review of monthly reports in GARS
• Assist reconcilers on issues encountered
• Responsible for quality review and resolving of anomalies in item classifications
• Work with GARS IT to ensure accuracy and completeness of accounts loaded in GARS
• Work with reviewers and Global GARS Admin to ensure adherence to established accounts reconciliation deadlines
• Performs UAT for GARS updates/changes
• Supports bi-annual UAR by performing updates
• Supports new account reconciliation migration by recommending account owners

Qualifications:

• Ability to manage high volume of transactions
• Able to work with high degree of accuracy
• Possess good organizational skills and keen attention to details
• Can effectively communicate with different levels of stakeholders
• Knowledge of JDE is preferred
