Summary's position :

The Industrial S ales Manager , China, is responsible for the Specialty Chemicals and Specialty Materials sales to our Chinese industrial customers. This includes: S pecialty chemicals for the pharmaceutical , eye care, wound care and electronic chemicals (supply to Tier 1 materials suppliers) and various specialty graphite applications (Mold making Aerospace , Medical & advanced Industrial industries) . This portfolio includes specialty chemicals such as organophosphorus , Phosphitylating and Phosphorylating Agents , acrylates, various specialty ligands and monomers, premium graphite grades and silicon carbide.

This role is based in China , with responsibilities for direct sales, & Sales Channel Partners the China region .

Main r esponsibilities


  • Execute customer engagement strategies that improve our customer relationships and enable revenue growth in coordination with global sales management and support functions.


  • Lead and develop the China AMM sales team and provide timely and accurate input and feedback into Global Sales management and BU management .


  • Provide customer demand visibility and accuracy to enable target customer service levels, appropriate factory planning, and logistics optimization.


  • Participate and, in some cases, drive market and competitive analysis to enable Entegris AMM to improve its competitive position, expand product portfolio and prepare factories and capex for future business opportunities


  • D evelop and implement account strategies to achieve overall business goals and objectives .


  • Establish strong multi-level relationships with customer s and secure access and influence with key influencers.


  • Ensure staff members goals are aligned with global industrial sales goals, monitor progress and effectively manages the team to identify and resolve problems, gaps and obstacles.


  • Maintain keen understanding of market share and utilize this knowledge to prioritize and grow market share.


  • Participate in and provide China leadership in sales and business review meetings with BU management


  • Ensure alignment between China AMM key customer s and Entegris' technology roadmap s




  • Effectively manage personnel development with smart goals, training plans and staff development


  • Lead the China industrial sales team engagement with customers, and expand sales opportunities


  • Grow revenue and profitability through collaborative and consultative sales approach with customers.


  • Drive effective pricing strategy through contract and price negotiation processes; mitigate margin erosion and expenses tied to premium freight and rebates.


  • Apply critical thinking to solve complex customer, competitive and/or market challenges.


  • Effectively manage customer expectations on inventory support; mitigate and protect Entegris assets.


  • Support cross-divisional sales initiatives at targeted accounts and market segments ( e.g. Life Science, Space Optics)

  • Ability to handle complex negotiations and work through ambiguity.


  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills and ability to effectively communicate with customers , direct reports, and team members; ability to translate highly technical information to non-technical audience .


  • Proactive approach, persuasive, energetic, clear, respectful, and timely communicator


  • Strong analytical skills to aggregate disparate information, draw insightful conclusions and translate into creative, business-savvy actions.


  • Leads by example. Strong work ethic and teamwork skills to create and foster a collaborative, results-oriented environment.


  • Strong supervisory, time management, and performance management skills.


  • Ability to work in a matrix environment and managing multiple priorities and projects with dynamic timelines to execution.


  • Must treat everyone equally with respect and dignity.



Education & experiences


  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree


  • 10+ years' experience in high technology field including 5+ years , preferably, in specialty materials markets.



  • 5 + years technical sales experienc e
