The Role:

Our site in Bedford, MA or Billerica, MA is seeking a Director of Product Management to join our team. The Director of Product Management is responsible for developing, managing and growing various markets segments in the semiconductor processes areas for the Gas Filtration Business Unit . This global leadership role directly manages product management teams across the regions and controls all aspects of the product lines associated with their markets . As the market leader, this person is responsible for developing strategic plans, managing the segment revenue, profitability, and overall product line strategy - including developing associated product/technology roadmaps, driving new product development, and launching collateral materials for product success . Further this position entails the management of critical, daily activities to support the business with customers, operations, quality, and other cross-functional groups to ensure customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do :

• Leading cross-functional, global teams to execute on market and product line strategy

• including product definition, commercialization, manufacturing, pricing and product life cycle and horizon planning.

• Driving profitability of the market segment in line with the BU P&L targets

• including understanding cost structure and managing in-market pricing

• Building product/technology roadmaps and defining market requirements for product development (via stage-gate process) to ensure the product pipeline for future market success


• Develop ing deep understanding of customer needs through voice of customer and champion s to all levels of the organization


• Driving new product sampling and adoption with key customers and partners


• Align on portfolio management helping to secure and align resources to key product/market priorities


• Making critical decisions and supporting operations on production priority and allocation as necessary


• Understanding and developing competitive market positioning and market share analysis of assigned markets


• Maintaining and updating revenue forecasts in alignment with sales and operations driving long term capacity planning


• Managing and training successful Product Managers in support of individual Market segment goals.

What We Seek :

• Understanding of semiconductor businesses and processes
  
  


• Successful track record for leading cross functional and cross -cultural teams - delivering growth in critical product lines
  
  


• Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities while driving leadership across cross-functional teams
  
  


• Skilled at leadership in portfolio and P&L Management with understanding of the key financial metrics to drive the broader business/portfolio management
  
  


• Ability to lead on broad and complex assignments in support of business goals
  
  


• Excellent people management and communication including development, delegation, providing feedback, promoting teamwork and performance management
  
  


• Technical background with Bachelors of Chemistry , Engineering, Material Science or related fields
  
  


• Strong English language, communication and presentation skills
  
  


• Ability to travel globally up to 20% of time to support internal developments and customer opportunity management
  
  


• Participation in global conference calls outside of normal working hours on a regular basis

Outstanding Candidates Will Have :

• Understanding of Gas Filtration fundamentals, semiconductor market requirements, and competitors
  
  


• Master's Degree and/or MBA
