Consultant - Military Veterans

Summary:

In this role, you will oversee individual work efforts in support of provider objectives by analyzing and presenting data, which will include supporting strategy development, implementing performance improvements and supporting project management activities.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide implementation support of overall value focusing on performance targets and/or operational improvements.


  • Collect data from various provider source systems (e.g., patient financial, material management, decision support).


  • Conduct analyses on spend, clinical, operational and/or performance improvement related data.


  • Create presentations using data and other relevant inputs (e.g., interviews) to drive an action for provider performance improvement.


  • Provide support to senior consultants on provider engagements including research, development of presentations, meeting and status report preparation, issue identification, and tracking/updating project budgets.


  • Support SME in the areas of service line management, including supply chain operations, inventory management, PAR replenishment, operating room inventory flow and process maps. Building shelving units within supply areas of the hospitals.


  • Develop formal training modules for the team, measure project success through our partner's project management software (Monday.com) and provide weekly summaries to the leadership team.


  • Assist with communication plans with end users and development of supply chain best practices related to logical unit of measure, just-in-time (JIT) supply, periodic automatic replenishment (PAR) management and other supply chain management functions.


  • Utilize project management methodologies to plan and manage projects, achieve milestones and deliver on intended objectives.


  • Collaborate with management and internal teams on recommendations to improve products/services/tools/methods in functional area of focus.



Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred. Advanced degree desired.


  • 2 or more years of relevant experience in healthcare supply chain distribution required.


  • Understanding of health care operations (i.e., service line management, including supply chain operations, inventory management, PAR replenishment, operating room inventory flow, process maps, and data analysis) required.


  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required.


  • JIT / Logical Unit Measure healthcare supply chain experience required.


  • Power BI experience preferred.


  • Consulting and implementation experience with large healthcare networks.


  • Experience in project management, change management and process improvement.


  • Analytical with strong attention to detail, problem solving abilities and excellent interpersonal skills.


  • Highly organized, able to multitask with the ability to prioritize competing demands, meet deadlines and quickly adapt to change.


  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients' needs and timetables. (The position includes regular travel to customer hospital locations throughout the U.S.)

Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $68,500.00 to $109,700.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
