Scope of the job:

To manage and oversee company's overall supply chain in order to maximize the process efficiency regarding to safety, quality, delivery, cost, people and environmental impact. Ensures efficient setting of stock objectives, smooth production planning, monitoring of projected stock levels, and adjusting the production and replenishment plans to fulfil customers' needs.

To play a crucial role between Customer Centres and PC - driving the factory to set the most appropriate capacity to balance demand and supply.

The incumbent of this job operates as part of the PC operations management team. Must interface with all levels within the PC operational environment.

This position will entail training in Japan for a duration of 3-6 months.

This role will play an important part in setting up the new line in Chandler to ready it for production, helping with the transfer of knowledge from Japan and actively participating in the installation and commissioning phase of the project.

Main Responsibilities:


  • Is responsible for compliance with global and local policies and regulations, as well as identification and elimination of risks in designated area.

  • Identifies, develops and monitors key supply chain KPIs including consistent customer service at market acceptable lead-times.

  • Ensures that robust planning procedures are designed to reliably and consistently provide on-time service levels and meet annual targets.

  • Regularly checks planning alerts and adjust the correction of data errors.

  • Identifies process bottleneck and implement solutions leading to improvement of planning process, mainly leading to better use of manufacturing capacities, faster response to customer needs and labor savings.

  • Manages the impacts from new product introductions and engineering changes on planning. Identifies and implements the necessary changes to supply routes, inventory and demand planning and understands financial consequences based on changes provided.

  • Monitors the Safety stock model for materials in all Commercial DCs as well as planning scenarios to simulate demand or capacity changes.

  • Regularly collaborates with Sales and customer care centers for key OEM accounts.

  • Manages the S&OP (Sales& Operations Planning) processes within the PC.

  • Manages human resources (supply planning team), including selection, recommends staffing levels and changes in accordance with company and departmental mission, coaching, discipline, manpower planning and motivation of staff.

  • Builds high performance team culture by providing regular performance feedback to manufacturing team employees, follows yearly appraisal process

  • Provide reporting for planning and customer care and management needs. Support key KPI reporting to customer service level agreement.

  • Coordinates all communication regarding order status and finished goods availability. Responds to all requests for expediting in a timely manner.

  • Executes exception management processes for product availability dates based on assessment of order priority and review of available fulfilment options including re-prioritisation and code conversion of stock items.

  • Assists in coordinating and updating the lean tools used in PC. Supports 6S and Kaizen tracker monitoring status and completion for workshop improvements. Participation in Kaizen and BPI projects.

  • Provides timely and accurate monthly reports of performance.

  • Is responsible for Vacuum Technique Production System (VTPS) enhancement within designated area.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience

  • High school (preferably in Engineering or Business)

  • Detailed Supply Chain management knowledge and minimum of 5 years' experience, including planning.

  • Ability to influence at all levels in the organization.

  • Proven ability to deliver project objectives on time and to budget.

  • Strong working knowledge of inventory management systems.

  • Evidence of an analytical approach using qualitative and quantitative tools and techniques.

  • Highly motivated and willingness to take the initiative for implementing continuous improvements and to achieve set goals and objectives.

  • Excellent communication skills, including well-developed inter-personal and leadership skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of other transaction and planning systems (e.g. MAPICS, SAP) preferred.

  • Proficient in English - written and speaking.
