Responsibilities & Qualifications

The Program Manager:

  • Serves as a single point of contact and trusted advisor for senior level government and TekSynap corporate management for the execution of the program.
  • Manages and mentors subordinate managers (Task Order leads, SMEs, e.g.) on the execution of work in their areas
  • Manages and holds accountable all TekSynap subcontractors
  • Prepares and briefs technical and financial status of the contract to both government and TekSynap management
  • Proactively manages technical, contractual, and financial risks and opportunities on the program
  • Works successfully with all supporting corporate organizations (recruiting, finance, HR, contracts, security) to meet contractual obligations
  • Uses customer knowledge to support TekSynap capture and business development efforts in the intelligence community
  • Proactively shapes and monitors growth opportunities on the contract
  • As needed, manages detailed work plans, schedules, changes to scope and milestone deadlines, project estimates, project budgets resource plans, and status reports.
  • Creates and/or approves contractually required documents (CDRLs)
  • Determines candidates for employment/termination, conducts performance evaluations and salary reviews for assigned staff and is responsible for the application of company policies.
  • Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
  • Meets regularly with business and technology owners to define business and technical requirements and develop corresponding implementation plans.
  • Plans course of projects, including milestones, resources required, cross-functional dependencies, use of technology and tools and document in project plan, following established project management methodology.
  • Proactively manages project dependencies, risks, action items and blockers. Communicates and escalates as needed.
  • Assists the team to remove roadblocks and manages dependencies.
  • Manages team data, metrics and analyzes trends.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 10-15 years of experience.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with a CI Poly.
  • A bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, business management, or a related field.
  • Diverse large contract management experience (IDIQs, Task Orders, single awards, etc.)
  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
  • Experience with NGA is preferred

These services allow NGA to conduct day to day operations across the enterprise and are provided within each NGA component organization and enable them to perform management, intelligence, information technology, and security functions
