Job Summary and Qualifications
- The Vice President of Procedural Services is responsible for all Procedural Services departmental functions in support of the hospital mission, vision and facility goals.
- The Vice President identifies the cost-effective systems needed to support the business of the service line, taking into account business trends, resource availability and changes in customers.
- Consults with medical staff members; remains fully informed regarding the views of the medical staff as to the quality of medical practice and patient care within the various specialties and service lines.
- Oversees the planning, control, and effective utilization of the physical, financial and human resources of the entity.
- Maintains awareness of the current and potential competitive forces in the marketplace and ensures that the entity has an active and continuous marketing plan that meets the overall strategic objectives.
- Ensures that all legal and statutory requirements are met for the operations of the Procedural Services lines.
- This position establishes effective working relationships with all stake holders, including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors.
- The Vice President identifies, leverages and remedies opportunities through continuous stakeholder interaction and engagement in order to meet all objectives and goals.
- The Vice President utilizes the POCA process to identify, plan, implement and monitor improvements to the care delivery systems in the facility.
What qualifications you will need:
EDUCATION AND TRAINING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelors of Nursing degree required; completed or completing a Masters in relevant/applicable field of study.
- Five years of progressive Surgery experience to include management of personnel, payroll, budgets, capital, business planning, marketing, physician relations and management of supervisory positions.
- Director level experience required.
- Demonstrates knowledge of financial implications of materials, equipment, and human resources.
- Positive interpersonal skills; leadership ability and skills, proactive problem solving; basic computer skills.
- Must be a team player and have the ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:
- Active and current RN, or active and current temporary RN license to practice in the State of Texas.

Medical City Fort Worth serves as a tertiary referral center for Tarrant County and many counties within a 90 mile radius. We offer comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services.
