Sidel Blow Molding Process Engineer - Military Veterans

As Sidel Blow Molding Process Engineer, you play a pivotal role in driving customer satisfaction through the efficient operation of the Sidel Blow Molding Department. In this role, you develop and maintain Sidel reheat and blow molding processes / heating profiles for all beverage containers, including qualification and new product trials.
You Will
- Be the subject matter expert for the Sidel Blow Molding equipment including Series 1, Series 2 and Matrix Sidels. (CSD / cold fill / heat set / overstroke).
- Design and develop blow mold set-up processes / heat profiles for new and existing product.
- Modify processes to improve quality, uptime, reduce scrap and reduce changeover time.
- Maintain the oven related equipment on the Sidel blow molders per scheduled maintenance planning.
- Create and maintain documentation of processes for use by Process Technicians.
- Train and mentor Process Technicians on proper set up, changeover and operation of the equipment.
- Understand and analyze quality data to determine the root cause of defects and develop action plans for correction.
- Work closely with cross functional teams on continuous improvement projects to improve the uptime and efficiency of the process.
You Have
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience of Sidel or similar blow molding equipment.
- Deep subject matter expertise of blow molding equipment and operational processes.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (preferred).
- Prior experience documenting work processes.
- Working knowledge of continuous improvement methodology.
- Familiarity with SAP (preferred).
