Associate Director of Research Development, Professor of the Practice for Center for Research Computing Location: South Bend, IN Open Date: May 17, 2024 Deadline: Description: The Center for Research Computing (CRC) at the University of Notre Dame is actively expanding its research activities on a national and international scale. The Center invites applications for an open-rank Professor of the Practice to lead its Research Development program. This pivotal role balances research coordination and personal research development, with the incumbent dedicating 30% of their time to coordinate and empower the CRC's research activities and 70% to advancing their own research initiatives. This position reports to the Director of the Center for Resarch Computing. Qualifications: Ph.D. degree in a field relevant to computational research. Demonstrated expertise in managing and coordinating research activities within a higher education or similar environment. Proven track record in obtaining and managing research funding from diverse sources. Exceptional analytical skills and a thorough understanding of national research funding landscapes. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, capable of working independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
