PRS Product Support Analyst - Military Veterans

at Combined Insurance

Chubb Personal Risk Services, PRS, is looking for a Product Support Analyst to play a key role in the implementation of policy language and rules to support PRS's business strategy. This position also includes evaluating compliance changes and developing the appropriate changes to policies, rules, and forms in order to comply with new laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain product line forms, rules, and rating plans in compliance with state insurance laws
  • Review and understand business requirement documents, and ensure information is accurate in order to implement changes
  • Provide technical guidance in the development and utilization of product line rates, rules, and forms
  • Provide subject matter expertise regarding compliance with state insurance laws as it relates to forms
  • Ensure consistency with Actuarial Announcements prior to handing off filing information
  • Coordinate and submit responses to criticisms received from Insurance Departments, by obtaining the necessary information from the relevant stakeholders
  • Coordinate "form change only" projects, which includes handing off changes directly to IT and the Composition and Rate teams
  • Implement all Notices, Field Announcements, Policyholder and Producer Letters, Rate and Rule changes
  • Ensure quality of output by employing various proof-reading methods and strategies and utilizing compare tool technologies
  • Confirm readability scores, complete compliance checklists, side by side changes to be filed, and transmittal information for state filer
  • Validate system generated paper to make sure all changes were made based on the Huddle
  • Create the agent facing Guide letter that explains changes to the Rate & Rule, Contract Guide and/or Coverage Summary documents
  • Process alerts from Wolters Kluwer which includes analysis of alerts, updating appropriate forms and shutting off forms
  • Attend various meetings in support of assigned projects and provide subject matter expertise
  • Create and maintain internal team templates to ensure consistency across all project implementations
  • Review and sign off on QA test plans for owned projects based on form changes
  • Work on special projects as needed

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills required - including Word, Excel and PDF
  • Knowledge of personal lines product lines and Masterpiece a plus
  • Knowledge of Workshare Compare tools and SharePoint a plus
