What You'll Be Doing:
Responsible for monitoring and supervision of all activities related to an assigned infrastructure projects to ensure the completion to cost and time schedules.
Responsible for providing feedback regarding project progress, status, deviations, changes..
Is overall accountable for the approval for payments and reimbursements on all project related activity.
Inspects and reviews current projects to monitor compliance of with construction and safety codes, and other regulations in coordination with the Quality, Safety and Environmental Department.
Provides day-to-day direction and works with Lusail staff to ensure a high performance, customer service-oriented work environment that supports achieving the Department’s and Lusail’s mission, strategic plan, objectives and values.
Operates Lusail’s personnel policies and procedures and performance management processes for project staff.
Defines and communicates roles, responsibilities and authority to Lusail project team members and client to ensure project completion in a safe manner, within budget, on schedule, and in conformance with the appropriate standards, specifications and applicable regulatory requirements.
Assists the Construction Manager to monitor and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problem. Reviews and approves changes to contract based on the recommendations of the Construction Manager.
Provides technical input regarding project and construction management to the Design Department, during the design and development phase of the project.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
4-year degree in Civil engineering.
Certified PMP is preferred.
Minimum 20 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure and landscape projects, related to roads and utilities. This should include substantial involvement in both design and construction phases, with a strong understanding of relevant codes, design manuals, and construction practices.
5 years of experience in Qatar/GCC region.
Ability to interpret complex contract documents including plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
Ability to make decisions and recommendations on significant engineering problems, and review drawings, specifications, and installations for constructability.
Demonstrated previous PMCM experience.
Advanced negotiation and presentation skills.
Good written and verbal communication.
Ability to identify potential problems and propose solutions.
Ability to team build, organize staff and prioritize work.
Ability to work well within and lead a project team of mixed nationalities.
Experience in Microsoft applications.
Ability to build rapport with work colleagues.
Candidate must have MME/ MMUP/ UPDA
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Fluency in Arabic would be an advantage
