Inside Sales Engineer - Military Veterans

They are seeking a skilled military veteran technician with great communication and people skills to become their next Inside Sales Engineer (ISE). The ISE is on the front line of providing excellent customer service, and superior support to customers. The ISE gathers the required data to size, select, and quote process control solutions. Often times this is the first point of contact with the customer, so a combination of technical know-how and customer service skills are required. The ISE receives mentoring and training on internal procedures, vendor products, and pricing guidelines from an assigned Inside Sales Manager and other senior colleagues. The work processes and technical selections are reviewed by management or senior colleagues.

Essential functions:

- Size, select, and engineer process valves, actuators, and instrumentation to address the customers' problems and applications

- Gather information from customers and teammates to determine the best technical and commercial solution for each opportunity

- Interact regularly with customers, providing exceptional service and establishing long term mutually beneficial relationships

- Develop technical expertise about solutions that bring value to stakeholders

- Support internal customers (account managers, order management, accounting, shop) to provide support and efficient execution of customer orders

- Collaborate with subject matter experts, account managers and business unit leaders on key opportunities to determine scope and sales strategy

- Maintain positive and productive relationships with principal suppliers

- Follow up on quotations, acquiring the ability to close sales

- Participate in the training and onboarding of employees

Base salary, $70 -$75K, with overtime, a quarterly profit-sharing bonus, an ESOP plan that the company contributes to, 401(k) with matching, and amazing benefits.
