Job Description: Responsible for teaching courses and assessing learning outcomes in area of instruction. Assignments may include alternative delivery methods, evening courses, and multiple sites including high school partner locations. Must demonstrate excellence in teaching and service. Must demonstrate a commitment to the mission and values of the community college. This is an adjunct instructor pool to collect resumes to teach Humanities Required Qualification: Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Humanities, Classics, Humanities and Fine Arts or a Master's Degree with 12 graduate semester hours in Humanities, Classics, Humanities and Fine Arts, Anthropology, Art, Cultural Studies, History, Literature, Philosophy, Religion, Linguistics and Fine Arts. 6 graduate semester hours must be from the appropriate sub-discipline field. A combination of experience and education may be considered. Some instructional positions are subject to minimum hours of teaching or training required. Community college teaching experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to use a variety of technology-based instructional tools is highly preferred. Ability to teach in on-line and/or hybrid environments is desired.
