Machine Operator - Military Veterans

Job Responsibilities:
- Under the direction of a supervisor and/ or experienced machinist, responsible for the output of quality parts produced on CNC lathes in a safe and timely manner.
- Load parts utilizing overhead lifting equipment or material transfer/ loader best suited for the job.
- Use fixtures to locate parts of the machine and adjust them to ensure quality parts are produced.
- Confirm the setup is correct, then start and observe machine operation to detect possible malfunction before initiating the machining cycle.
- Adjust machine offset if needed to ensure the part is in tolerance.
- Keep machine and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
- Adheres to formalized Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, Quality Management System requirements, and HSE program and policies.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 1 year of manufacturing, machining operating, or assembly experience is preferred.
- Previous experience in the oilfield is a bonus
- Basic Math (Add, Subtract, Multiply, Divide, Fractions).
