A IT Hardware/Network Technician contributes to AHF by addressing and resolving any IT inquiries, problems, and requests to allow AHF to provide maximum quality care to our clients. This is an administrative, technical, and service resource that provides critical support and IT customer service to users across the entire organization. This individual performs professional work with computer hardware, software, and network systems. This position configures and supports all systems to ensure continuous availability. This individual will provide the baseline foundation for AHF's technology operations and is the frontline for support.

A IT Hardware/Network Technician enhances the reputation of AHF by using strong customer service skills, technical aptitude, and understanding of the IT needs of AHF users will be leveraged to ensure employees are able to perform their responsibilities efficiently, productively, and effectively. The IT Hardware/Network Technician must develop an understanding of AHF's applications, systems, and business requirements and be able to triage user support issues effectively leading to proactive resolution and/or escalation as necessary. Proactive communication, empathy, and a focused sense of urgency will be expected throughout the support request resolution process.

AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders.

The IT Hardware/Network Technician will work as a part of a close-knit team to installs and supports personal computers and network operations in accordance with IT Service standards; provides hardware and software evaluation; provides problem solving and training for end users; and ensures the efficiency and integrity of all systems. In addition, the individual will provide service and/or training via telephone, web/video conference, email, remote desktop, and face-to-face that enables employees to resolve technology issues with the information system tools they have been provided.
