The Visual Perception and Attention Lab (PI Marisa Carrasco) is seeking to hire a full time Junior Laboratory Associate (up to 40 hours per week) to assist with research in visual perception and attention. The Junior Laboratory Associate will assist with conducting research sessions in psychophysics and possibly fMRI, MEG and/or TMS, facilitate recruitment and participant management and payment, contribute to data processing and analyses, coordinate lab meetings and events, maintain lab website and social media, and provide general support to more senior researchers. In compliance with NYC'sPayTransparencyAct, the annual basesalaryrange for this position is $38,000- $42,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer. Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in psychology, neuroscience or a related field, experience with programming and data analysis, previous research experience with human participants (preferably, experience with children too), and good oral and written communication skills.
